Mission
and Program Description:
The purpose of this program is to
provide specialized classroom instruction and practical
experience as per the American Society for Nondestructive
Testing standards and to prepare students for employment as a
technician in the nondestructive testing industry. This program
generally prepares individuals to perform in radiation safety,
applied math, applied physics, ultrasonic, and manufacturing
processes as pertaining to the field of nondestructive testing.

The objectives of the Nondestructive Testing Technology
program are to provide knowledge and skills training that enable
students to demonstrate knowledge and use the following:
- Principles of penetrant testing.
- Basic principles of Magnetic Particle Inspection as that
of a Level II technician.
- Order of operations in mathematics.
- Basic principles of physics.
- Properties of ultrasonic, wave propagation, and
ultrasonic testing equipment.
- Fundamentals of radiation.
- Codes and procedures of radioactive materials.
- Dial calipers, od and id micrometers, and other gages
affiliated with nondestructive testing.
- Properties of materials
- Technical reports as applied to various conditions in
nondestructive testing.
- Nondestructive technology in fieldwork.

COST
An application or re-application
fee and a testing fee per component are charged for each Application
for Admission submitted.
Tuition is paid by the semester.

are also required to purchase books and supplies separately. Contact
your host campus for a complete projected cost of this program.
The college accepts cash, personal
and company checks, MasterCard or Visa for all fees. A percentage
of tuition and fees are refundable up to the tenth day of instruction.
No refund will be made after the tenth day.
