Louisiana Technical College (LTC) Greater Acadiana Region employees honored during recent Louisiana Community and Technical College System Conference Day

The Louisiana Community and Technical College System (LCTCS) Conference Day took place on August 13 – 14 at the New Orleans Marriott at the Convention Center. The theme of this year’s conference was “Recovery and Resurgence: Two Year Colleges for the 21st Century.” Over 400 system employees took advantage of the opportunity for professional development and to learn about new LCTCS initiatives. The opening session included the presentation of awards which were distributed to deserving individuals from each College, including each LTC region. Conference day participants attended informative breakout sessions, many of which were led by nationally-known speakers and experts, on everything from distance learning to disaster preparedness.
