Dry Stack (Mortarless)
Concrete Block Training

The Louisiana state government has approved funding to train the people of Louisiana to rebuild after the devastating losses from Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. As such, for qualified persons from Louisiana, these classes for dry stack (mortarless) concrete block are free. This is a dynamic hands-on class for which all students are expected to fully apply themselves to learn all techniques to dry stack concrete block. The class will require each student to fully engage themselves in mathematics, concrete engineering, design attributes and construction work. Our goal is to teach quality construction using dry stack concrete block on a cost effective basis.

All VOBB block, grout, rebar, tools, etc. will be provided for by Louisiana Technical College.

The first class will be from ten (10) to twenty (20) students. This great opportunity is on a first-come, first-served basis. Complete and signed application forms are required.
